With a deep appreciation for all things handcrafted, the Lucas Miles Atelier is proud to introduce the work of Danish jewellery maker Amalie Honoré. Known for celebrating artisanal skill—from bespoke lampshades to vintage restorations—the Atelier now brings you Amalie’s one-of-a-kind, hand-beaded earrings, crafted with the same dedication to detail, quality, and creativity that defines everything we curate.
Amalie lives in Denmark with her beautiful dog, Nova—an adorable harlequin miniature dachshund. Together, they spend as much time as they can in La Herradura, where Amalie visits her mother and draws endless inspiration from the vibrant pace and sea-sparkled light of coastal life.
Her journey into jewellery-making began not as a business plan, but as a heartfelt Christmas gift for her older sister. One year, her mother asked her to buy a pair of earrings as a present—so she did. But when the bill came to €100, Amalie felt uneasy about the price.
The following Christmas, her sister mentioned that those expensive earrings had faded and that she’d have preferred a darker colour. Rather than buying another pair, Amalie decided to create something herself—something more personal, better-made, and truly one of a kind. She researched techniques, watched tutorials, sourced the best materials she could find, and crafted a pair by hand.
Her first attempt wasn’t perfect, but she had fallen in love with the process. From there, her creativity took flight. She began sketching her own designs, experimenting with colours and shapes, and mastering new techniques. What started as one gift soon grew into a collection of over 30 pairs, each unique, each telling its own small story.
Her signature styles include the intricate Octopus design, the timeless Brick Stitch, and the elegant Russian Twist. She often incorporates playful experiments into her work—pieces that may never be repeated, ensuring that each customer owns something truly individual.
Amalie works only with the highest-quality materials: Miyuki Delica and Toho seed beads in size 11/0, freshwater pearls, and Japanese 0.165 mm fluorine nylon thread—prized for its exceptional strength and durability. Every pair is made slowly, with patience and care, in moments when she wants to lose herself in the joy of crafting.
Her earrings are full of colour, personality, and craftsmanship—and are available exclusively at Lucas Miles Atelier.
