Noor Houtakkers
My name is Noor, a 31 year old artist living with my husband and dog in Amsterdam. My artistic journey is inspired by the captivating beauty of the natural world and it's profound influence on the organic essence of the female form. Through my work, I delve into the intricate connection between feminity and nature, aiming to highlight the inherent beauty of women while drawing inspiration from the patterns and textures found in the environment.
I express my creativity through various mediums , including digital art, textiles, painting and even tattooing. Each medium allows me to explore different facets of my artistic vision and bring to life the symbiotic relationship between femininity and the mother nature. Whether I'm creating intricate textile designs or vibrant digital compositions, my goal remains the same: to celebrate the beauty and connectedness of women and nature through art.
Javier (Fran) Korral
Award winning international artist Javier Korral, signature FranK, a native of Nigüelas, creates paintings and sculptures inspired and bold compositions; Among his favourite themes are portraits of real or fictional characters and landscapes (Alpujarras, Granada corners, seascapes of the coast or the Lecrín Valley).
Javier completed his Industrial Master's studies, while working in the workshop of the sculptor Miguel Moreno. He also studied drawing and modelling at art school, graduating in design, sculpture and stone carving. He also began those in technical architecture and has to his credit individual and group exhibitions in Oslo, Paris, Germany, and Australia.
"I usually work on commission and what I am most often asked for are landscapes and some abstract work.I wanted to do these because my body asked me to,” he clarifies.
Having created over 4000 pieces and counting, he has exhibited in more the 50 national and international events, including several museums in Spain.
Magdalena Bautsch
Since I can remember, creativity has been an inseparable part of my life. As a child, I absorbed every landscape, shape and color I encountered and capture these images on paper. In high school, I observed the sunrises and the sunsets, listened the sound of the wind in the leaves of birch trees growing in front of my house, the sounds and smell of rain outside the window and presenting them in the form of nostalgic poems and drawings full of feelings. I was queen in the realm of my imagination.
My paintings are an expression of feeling. I transfer my sensual impressions to canvas and paper. Sight, touch, smell and taste that absorb colors and shapes, texture, scents and flavor sensations are my helpers in the process of creating.
My inspiration also comes from observing and feeling nature. Nature is the greatest artist, no one combines colors like her.
Fragrant flowers, juicy fruits, warm pastel and golden red sunsets, patterns and textures perfectly composed on the skin of animals.
Billions of pictures and colors so perfect and breathtaking.
I play with them, give them new forms, combine them with feelings, memories and smells.
Annie Peters
Annie Peters has been creating “Sweet Nature Photography” for several years, selling her framed photos and beautiful art cards, in various galleries and craft fairs in the UK and America.
Although British born and bred, Annie lived in Georgia, in the USA, for 14 years, where she discovered her passion for photography, beginning with her love for birds and her joy in photographing her favourites - the hummingbirds. Her striking images were displayed and sold in the Blue Ridge Art Center (and included in their Juried Photography Shows) at the Covington Art Gallery, and at the American Redemption emporium, near Atlanta.
Upon returning to the UK in 2017, Annie’s cards and framed works were sold and displayed at a local country retail outlets in Kent and North Wales, and at many local craft fairs.
Annie has recently bought a home here in La Herradura and has brought a selection of her beautiful art cards to Spain, where they are now on display and being sold at Lucas Miles Atelier, La Herradura. As well as her many existing designs, Annie has now created a new local, Spanish collection of pretty windows and striking blue doors, as well as flora and fauna native to the area. She can often be spotted “about town” with her camera around her neck capturing shots for her ever-expanding portfolio.
As well as photography, Annie is also a keen amateur artist, dabbling in watercolour and acrylics.
