Hosted by Woolly Mammoth Tufting Club
(a project by Lucas Miles Atelier)
We’re bringing Woolly Mammoth Tufting Club to Sevilla — and we couldn’t imagine a better place for it. Tufting is a beautifully tactile craft that lets you “draw with yarn” and create bold, textured designs in just a few hours. It’s hands-on, playful, and surprisingly easy to learn — the perfect way to spend a slow Sunday surrounded by colour and good company.
Our workshops are designed for complete beginners and are kept intimate — maximum 6 people — so everyone gets time, support, and space to explore the technique. Instruction is available in English and Spanish, so no matter where you’re from, you can follow along comfortably.
We offer two Sunday workshop formats, each with its own feel and pace:
The 5-hour workshop is a calm, immersive day of making. You’ll have time to relax into the process, design and tuft your own 40 x 60 cm piece, and — weather permitting — enjoy a light Spanish lunch in the square midway through the session. All materials are included, and we’ll guide you through the entire process from start to finish. It’s the kind of Sunday that feels both productive and beautifully slow.
The 3-hour “Sip & Tuft” workshop is a little punchier — perfect if you want a creative boost without committing to a full day. You’ll learn the basics, tuft a smaller piece, and enjoy a glass of wine or beer as you work. It’s relaxed, social, and a brilliant way to try something new in a friendly setting.
Both workshops take place at Talleres Virgen Cerámica, a lovely space in Sevilla. You don’t need to bring anything — just your ideas and a little curiosity.
