Service Description - Day Course
Always wanted to learn how to tuft?
In this 5-hour workshop, we offer step-by-step instruction. This course differs from our Short Course as it allows participants to create a larger rug with more colours, work at a slower pace, and enjoy a light lunch as a team.
What will you learn?
- All about the different types of guns
- What to look for in searching for the perfect fabric
- Which wool to use
- Transferring your design onto the canvas
- How to Tuft! FINALLY!!
- How to finish your design (shaving, sculpting, glueing, backing, etc). You can create your own design, or we can help you with some design suggestions. Whatever you wish! There is a maximum of 5 participants at the studio. Let's get ready to tuft!
What do you get?
- Your own custom-designed rug! (A2 size)
- Light lunch and snacks
- Coffee/tea/water/sodas (maybe even a beer or glass of wine after!)
- Follow-up instruction on how to finish and care for your rug
Good to know: Instruction is in English. Be sure to check with us if Spanish is also available at time of booking.
Where?
Most of our workshops are hosted at the Lucas Miles Atelier & Tufting Studio: Paseo Andres Segovia, 56, La Herradura, 18697, Spain; however, we sometimes take this show on the road! Please check the location details carefully before booking.
Cancelation policy:
If the customer, for whatever reason, cannot be present at their booked workshop, the customer must notify the Lucas Miles Atelier & Tufting Studio no later than 7 days before the start of the class, by e-mail info@lucasmiles.com or WhatsApp message +34 645 122 581. If the customer cancels with at least 7 days' notice, the customer can either reschedule their booking free of charge at the next available class or receive a full refund. If the customer cancels with less than 7 days and up to 48 hours before the workshop, it is still possible to schedule the lesson free of charge for the next workshop that has availability within the following 90 days, but a refund is not available. If the customer cannot find a suitable replacement for the date booked, please email info@lucasmiles.com and we will endeavour to reschedule the class for the customer within 90 days

Our right to cancel:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop, we may do so at our discretion and without prior notice. If this occurs, we will refund the course fee in full. No further liability shall be accepted.
